Share your love, friendship or whatever you want!

I always say that Coca Cola does a very good publicity. Their commercials are, normally, very imaginative and most of them provoke an emotion in us or some kind of reaction.

The last one, share a coke, in my opinion is fascinating... Who doesn't want a coke with his name? A personalized product? A special product only for us? Moreover, we have the possibility to gift the cokes that we find with the name of our friends and family to them.

However, I would have added one element more in the campaign...

Sharing a coke with our friends is fine and easy, but if we propose ourselves a challenge? What about share a coke with friends that regrettably, we don't see very often? Or with school friends or those who we met in the first years at the university and we have not seen anymore... Or even, why not, with our ex-boyfriends or ex-girlfriends... Doing it could mean a challenge for us, for example breaking with our shyness, but even more important...  Could it suppose a new beginning in our old friendship?

I made myself the promise that if I see a coke with the name of an acquaintance or someone who is not in my live now... I will try to save the coke for him, and I will try everything possible to give it to him... (If he or she is a little far away, at least, I am going to show them a picture through Facebook or email)

Because, although is so nice to share a coke with your friends... Isn't would be more special to share it with people who are not in our live anymore, but someday they meant something (or everything) for us?

Freaking out!!

Now that Breaking Bad has finished I feel like I had lost a good friend. I started watching the tv show just a few weeks ago!! I knew about the serie but by one and other reasons I haven't had time to see it up to now. And this summer I started to see, what it is for me, like the best tv serie so far!!!

I have other series to watch like next seasons of Walking Dead, The Big Ban Theory, How I meet your mother... and other ones that family and friends have recommended me, and I know I will forget to Heisenberg shortly, but what can I say??? I am sad for not watching anymore his adventures... his special realtionship with Jessy... his love for his kids....

Always that I say goodbye to a good serie I feel in the same way, I feel sad for not being to able to see it anymore :-( and now it's time to look for in internet about curiosities, behind the scenes, interviews with the characters.... and especially I am looking forward to sharing the final episode with my friends and talk about it long hours!!!

I can't believe I am not going to listen this intro for a new episode anymore!!! :-(

Intern in World NGO Day

This summer I am participating in a project to promote an initiative "World NGO Day", and I am working with an international team from many cities around the world to get their diffusion through Social Media.

This initiative wants to get an international day (February 27th) to recognize the hard job of all NGOs that exist in the world.

Thanks to this internship I am gaining knowledge in this new field for me, because besides the tasks of the internship I am doing some courses of Social Media to learn more together with the practice, and of course, in a way for free and online, because like I want to be a good Community Manager, I want to learn everything by myself and with all the resources that the  internet gives me. Because you can find all what you are looking for in the internet, you only need to be a good searcher!!!

Besides to manage the platforms in the network, I have to do other tasks like to interview people from different NGOs, and I have to say that I have met very interesting people during that time. Even some of them have offered me a trip for free as volunteer in Nepal!!

To sum up, I am very happy with this internship because I am learning a lot about Social Media and how to be a good Community Manager, I am meeting new people and learning from them, and I am doing other different tasks like Marketing Street.

Last week I had to hang posters in my city to get the attention of the walking people. It was interesting, and now I want to show you the pictures of that day:

Happy Summer!!!

It has been a long time since I have posted in the blog, but I have been very busy (and a little lazy XD) since I left Groningen. The trip back was awful; it was my worst trip since I have been living in the Netherlands.... The problem was that my luggage was very heavy, and I had to do a lot of train changes and walk a lot!!! I went to my friend's house in Eindhoven for sleeping, because my flight took off very early in the next morning from there... so there I was... walking almost through the whole city till my friend's house!!! hahaaha, but I have to thanks to her for the accommodation and the good company!!

Finally I arrived to Spain two weeks ago, and these weeks I had to organize my life and find my own place here again. And step by step I'm increasingly happier with all that I have in this moment... a new job in social media and market research (that I would like to tell you all more about this in the next post), new sports hobbies, new friends and new times with my old friends and relatives.
So by the moment, I am going to spend the summer in my hometown, working and chilling out... enjoying the good weather in Spain and the magic nights walking around the Alhambra's streets. Next step could be the Netherlands again... or probably London... I am not sure yet but I will inform to you all about my plans.

will write you soon my dears!!!! Meanwhile I am going to show you some pictures from the last weeks!!

My heavy suitcase from Groningen to Eindhoven!!!
Nights summer with a good company!!!

Spanish food!!! Tapas!!!

Social media: #Instagram

As I told you in my last post, I have an account in almost all the main social networks, and one of them that I really like is Instagram. I like the vintage style that you can put in your pics, it gives them an especial atmosphere. So now, I would like to share with you all my favourite pictures that I have in this website, and if you want to see more, only click in the following link.

How much do you use the social media?

I am passionate about the new ways of communication and the variety of things that you can share with all the emerging social media. You can show your favourite places from a different "point of view" on Instagram, share your musical tastes on Youtube or even your own creations, give your opinion on Twitter, blogs and also show your skills to get hired thanks to profiles like Linkedin or Glassdoor.... Anyway, I am pretty sure that I cannot tell you something that you don't already know.

This is what I like about social networks... you can share your tastes, your passions, your hobbies, things you really love with the whole world.... -besides that you can comunicate with anyone anywhere and find information about everything-.... but have you thought how far social media control us? I would like to reccomend you to a popular series in UK, Black Mirrow, which shows us in each episode how the new technologies can control our life, our decissions...

I don't know what will happen in a future... if it can be a help for the society or a dangerous weapon.... It will depend on ourselves, we need to use the social networks in a responsible manner and especially have a life outside of it... enjoy the free things of the life!! and I am not talking about wifi for free ;-)

I would like to learn all the secrets about social media... even to be able to create one of them... hahahha, why not? What I am certain about is that I want to learn more about them, and in the fututre I want to work in the direction of creating advertisements or specific publicity for this way of communication... combining two of my passions, publicity and social media.

The Last Queen's Day

This year I had double lucky. I enjoyed another Queen's Day in Groningen, and besides that, I experienced part of the history in Holland for the last year of the kingdom of the Queen Beatrix (Queen of the Netherlands)!!! It was very special, due to the environment ... This year, Groningen has been even more orange than last year... or maybe last year I didn't put so much attention in that.... but this year there was orange stuff in every place or shop of the city.

As you can see further down, these are pictures all over the city, even inside of the supermarkets there was orange and costumed products with the picture of the past Queen and the new King (Willem Alexander).

And about the party, I have to say that I enjoyed Queen's Day more last year... Last year I danced in the street with a lot of friends of my student house and I was almost 15 hours giving the best of myself in the streets of Groningen..... It was very special... I would like to show you some pictures of last year!!! This year I have missed them a lot!!!!!

And this year, I enjoyed much more Queen's Night.... I spend a great time with new friends and I was dancing almost to dawn. Next day, in Queen's Day, I was so tired due to night before and I went to bed very early!!!!

And now I want to share with you all moments of the people with whom I shared Queen's Night 2013.

I don't know if I come back next year, but I will always carry the good memories of these two years in my heart.

My trip to Rotterdam

Since I started this blog I haven't posted pictures of my trips for all over the world. I would like to do it occasionally and show you that I don't take the typical pictures tourists take.... as maybe I told you before in another post, I prefer to take pictures of graffiti, shop windows, untypical places, unsuspecting people.... and to have in my memory other kinds of memories.

But this time I am going to show you pictures of the city of Rotterdam, its main streets and buildings. I was there a few days ago when I went with a friend after I had a job interview in Amsterdam that same morning.

Rotterdam isn't the typical Dutch city... is most similar to other European cities like Brussels or London (with high buildings and modern places), but I saw that Rotterdam is really quite to be such a modern city!!!! It's a little confused... because can  you imagine London, Berlin or Madrid with a crowd in all its streets?? Rotterdam is of this way... although I was in the afternoon... I don't know if during the morning there is more business atmosphere...

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this short trip to Rotterdam through my pictures!!

My first interview in English!!

Hi guys!!! Today I had my first job interview professional in English!! It was such an experience!! like some of you know, I am in the Netherlands in order to improve my English but also to look for an internship... besides from the Netherlands, I am looking for an internship also in the UK too, in fact the interview of today was for working in a city near to Liverpool.

I was a little nervous at the beginning but when I started talking about the first question I become more calm and confident and I was able do the interview more or less fine (I think at least).

I want to tell you the questions that they ask me in the interview, so if you are in the same position as me, you can practise them!!!

-Tell me something about yourself.
-Describe yourself in five adjectives.
-Strengths and weakness.
-Why do you want to do an internship in the marketing deparment?
-Do you work fine under pressure?
-My favourite advertisment.
-What do you know about the company?
-Do you have any questions?

It didn't take much time, only 15 minutes and it was on Skype. The girl was very friendly... especially if after all she gives me the internship!! hahahahah.

Well, now it's time to wait.... I will know the results in a week, but I am not going to stop with my search of internship.... I can't wait for finding an internship in a creative position and to gain experience working abroad.

ayy guys, wish me luck!!!!

My last time in Groningen

Hi friends!! It was a long time since I wrote in the blog about my last steps, but as most of you know I have been in Granada since Christmas. I have really spent a great time in Granada with my family and friends and of course I have enjoyed the weather, the traditional food, the good friendships... although I have also tried to take some time for improving my English (taking courses here in Granada) and for my search for internships.

And now it's time to move and to do an an intensive search for interships all over the Netherlands. So I have to start preparing my luggage because in a very few days I will be in Groningen again.

Why Groningen again?

I like the lifestyle in the Netherlands, I am really in love of going everywhere on bike. It's really awesome for the people that aren't accustomed to do it in their hometown. Another reason is the language... I am trying to improve my English level and the Netherlands is a country which allows me do it. The last reason is that I have some good friends living there and I want to share a good time with them while I am looking for an internship, especially in Groningen where I a share flat with two of my best friends.

Why for the last time?

I think I won't come back to Groningen after this time... I like the city, but I don't want to live there alone without my Erasmus people so I will be there for the next two months and I hope to find something good and if it doesn't happen, I will begin again with other plans.

To sum up, I will spend the next months in Groningen, studying and looking for an internship as a visual merchandiser or in a marketing department, and meanwhile I hope to spend a great time with all my friends who are living there and waiting for everyone who wants to come.... Queen's Day waits us!!!!

Who has not seen the video Granaino Style yet?

Since a few days we have the opportunity of watching a video called "Granaino Style" in some social media. Probably if you are from Spain or if you are living in Spain, especially in Granada, you have already seen it.

The video is made humorously and has achieved more than five hundred thousand click on Youtube in only three days. Now I would like to share with you all.

It shows different words and expression very used very oftenfor the granadinos and the most important landmarks of the city, all together with the music and the style of the famous song "Gangam Style". I almost forgot!!! For people who aren't from Spain, Granaino means the name to call to the people borne in Granada.

I hope you enjoy the video and that all of you get to know a little more about Granada watching it.

You will be in the right place and we will see each other for the first time.... and after you ask me for my nationality.... we will be good friends, some days more than others... but, you will be an important part the upcoming months. Although you will only be four months in my life, you will give me a lot of good memories that I will always remember. Sound familiar? hehehe, you can call me crazy for this... but you already knew that I was this way ;-) I miss you.... I  hope you also remember the good times that we had together and I hope we see each other soon... and to continue living crazy nights on bike ;-)

It's a beautiful day and I can't see it

Today I want to show you a video that I have just seen... and it seems to me that it is a really good advertisement and for this reason I want to share with you all. It's about how words can help us to tell a message in the best manner. This is the video:

What do you think about it?

In my opinion, it's a good advertisement because it "moves the feelings" of the audience. The old man is blind and he can't see the same as you, but moreover, if he can't see something beautiful that is happening at the moment... you feel more sorry for him. Am I right?

Someday, I would like to work as a publicist, because I like to evoke emotions in other people... help them to think about things for a few minutes, which we don't put much attention to in our normal day.

Graffitis

Hi again!!! Here I am, one more time, to tell you about my adventures around the wordl!! hehehe, well, that isn't true at the moment... I am still in Granada, but I have something between hands to leave Spain soon..... at least I have hopes for this to happen... because I want to continue improving my English, travelling, discovering new cities, meeting new people... and of course to tell you everything!!!

Well, I really hope you enjoy reading the blog. I really love writing for you all, because that allows me to improve my "writing skill" a little, but the most important is that the blog also allows me to keep contact with my friends and relatives who are far away from me.

And today, I want to show them and you, one of my  hobbies, pictures of graffiti!! I like the drawings on te wall, for me it's art, and when I am walking some streets, and I see a graffiti, I take my time for taking a photograph. I have nearly to 1000 pictures of graffiti of all cities that I have visited!! Now, I want to show you, some of my favourites. Enjoy the art through my eyes!!!!

Christmas Holidays!!!

Hi followers!! I hope you all have enjoyed the Christmas Holidays. I came back to Spain a few weeks ago and I have been enjoying this time with my family and friends. I like to be in Spain.... I like the weather, to eat my mother's meals, to go out with my friends, even to see old friends or simply to be at home chilling out with my brother and my parents watching films, soccer matches or playing video games... However, I will have to leave Spain soon.... Unfortunately in Spain, I don't have any jobs opportunities, and I feel I am wasting my time, here in my house, doing nothing...  for that reason in a few days or weeks, at most, I will be, again, looking for an opportunity outside of Spain. I don't know where I will be spending the next months, but I will keep you informed!!

Now, I want to share with you all, pictures from my Christmas eve  in Granada. Enjoy it, my dear friends!!! And If you are reading this.... All my best wishes for you!!
