This summer I am participating in a project to
promote an initiative "World NGO Day", and I am working with an
international team from many cities around the world to get their diffusion
through Social Media.
This initiative wants to get an international day
(February 27th) to recognize the hard job of all NGOs that exist in the world.
Thanks to this internship I am gaining
knowledge in this new field for me, because besides the tasks of the internship
I am doing some courses of Social Media to learn more together with the
practice, and of course, in a way for free and online, because like I want to
be a good Community Manager, I want to learn everything by myself and with all
the resources that the internet gives me. Because you can find all what
you are looking for in the internet, you only need to be a good
searcher!!!
Besides to manage the platforms in the network,
I have to do other tasks like to interview people from different NGOs, and I
have to say that I have met very interesting people during that time. Even some of them have offered me
a trip for free as volunteer in Nepal!!
To sum up, I am very happy with this internship
because I am learning a lot about Social Media and how to be a good Community
Manager, I am meeting new people and learning from them, and I am doing other
different tasks like Marketing Street.
