Working in a project since the beginning, allow
you to learn many different things through the way. I have to thank to Neopost
for giving me this opportunity a few months ago. Neopost is located in
Drachten, in the Netherlands, and it is the first supplier in Europe and the
number two in the world in mailing solutions.
This year the company decided to start a new
challenge... the introduction in the field of shipping and parcels, offering a
new solution for e-commerce.
Due to this kind of companies is gaining more
and more importance, Neopost is working in a new service for them, an automatic
gift wrapping machine for they can provide to their customers personalized
gifts wrapping.
My role in this project has to see with
activities of market research, marketing campaigns, sales and customer relationships.
First of all, I did a market research to see which are the most promising ones
to introduce this kind of machine, then I contacted with a lot of companies and after
getting some of them interested, I worked in marketing activities, doing, among
other things, brochures, a website and some profiles in differents social networks sites.
I am very happy with this internship, I am
learning a lot about editing tools, how to do a market research (or even a
website), the best ways (and manners) to get in contact with potential
customers and the last but not least is that I am improving a little bit more
my English level, and all this, meanwhile I live in the Netherlands, in a
country that I love since my Erasmus year.
